How to Export Twitter Followers to CSV

Install Followers Exporter Pro for X

Navigate to any profile on X (Twitter)

Go to x.com and navigate to the profile you want to export data from. This can be your own profile or any public account. The extension works on any public profile — it does not need to be an account you follow or own.

If you visit a profile page directly, the extension auto-fills the username for you. You can also enter any username manually in the extension panel.

Open the exporter panel and enter a username

Click the floating PlugMonkey button on the right side of the screen to open the exporter panel. If you are on a profile page, the username is auto-filled. Otherwise, type the username of the account whose followers or following list you want to export. The username field accepts handles with or without the @ symbol.

Select Followers or Following and start the export

Choose whether you want to export the account's Followers (people who follow them) or Following (people they follow). Click "Start" to begin the export. The extension fetches data in batches with automatic rate-limit-safe pacing. A real-time progress bar shows how many records have been collected and the estimated time remaining.

Review the data in the paginated table view

Scroll through the pages to review the data before downloading.

Download the CSV file

Click the "Download CSV" button to save the file to your default downloads folder. The CSV file is named with the username, list type, and date (e.g., "elonmusk_followers_2026-02-15.csv"). The file opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any spreadsheet application.

Open and analyze the CSV in your spreadsheet application

Open the downloaded CSV in Excel or Google Sheets. All 20+ data fields are organized in columns: Username, Display Name, Bio, Location, URL, Followers Count, Following Count, Tweet Count, Listed Count, Verified, Created At, Profile Image URL, Banner Image URL, Protected, Default Profile, Default Profile Image, and more. Use spreadsheet features like sorting, filtering, and pivot tables to analyze the data.
