Manage Your LinkedIn Cleanup in Notion
Build a Notion database to log cleanup sessions, record who you removed or unfollowed, and maintain a master list of contacts you never want to touch.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Connection Remover Pro for LinkedIn does the filtering and the actual remove/unfollow work; Notion gives you a flexible home to plan and remember it. A simple Notion workspace turns network cleanup from a one-time purge into an organized, repeatable habit — with a session log, an imported snapshot of connections, and a protected-contacts list you can review before every bulk run.
Step-by-Step Guide
Set up your Notion cleanup workspace
Create a Notion page titled LinkedIn Network and add a database with these properties:
- Session Date (Date) — when you ran a cleanup
- Segment (Text) — what you targeted, e.g. "Acme Corp ex-colleagues" or "connections 3+ years old"
- Action (Select) — Remove or Unfollow
- Count (Number) — how many contacts you actioned
- Notes (Text) — anything worth remembering
Import a filtered connection snapshot
In Connection Remover Pro for LinkedIn, filter to a segment and Export CSV (PRO). In Notion, create a new database and use the … menu → Import → CSV to load that file. You now have a searchable, taggable snapshot of those connections captured at that moment — before you removed anyone.
Maintain a protected-contacts list
Create a database called Never Remove and record the connections that matter most — clients, colleagues, mentors, key partners. Before each bulk run, review this list and add those people to Connection Remover Pro for LinkedIn's built-in Protected list so a Mass Remove or Mass Unfollow never touches them, even if they match your filters.
Log each cleanup session
After each session in the extension, add a row to your session database: the date, the segment you targeted, whether you removed or unfollowed, and the count. Over time this becomes a clear history of how your network has evolved and what you've already handled — so you never redo the same work.
Review and plan monthly
Once a month, open your Notion workspace and add a short summary: total contacts removed and unfollowed, which segments you tackled, and what to target next. Use a Timeline view to see sessions plotted across the calendar, or a Calendar view to schedule the next cleanup.
