FAQ
Can I Use PlugMonkey on Multiple Devices?
Quick Answer
Yes — every PlugMonkey Pro license activates on an unlimited number of devices simultaneously. No device cap, no seat count, no deactivate-before-activate dance when switching machines. Install the extension on each device, paste the same license key, click Activate, and Pro features unlock instantly. The license is tied to your email, not a specific computer or Chrome profile.
- Every PlugMonkey Pro license — monthly, yearly, or lifetime — works on unlimited devices simultaneously. No device cap or seat count.
- License keys are stored locally per device for security reasons; you'll paste the same key on each new device once. Chrome Sync auto-installs the extension but doesn't carry the key.
- Bundle licenses behave the same way: one key unlocks all eight extensions on every device.
- ReadMonkey Pro additionally syncs saved articles and highlights across devices via Chrome Sync; the other extensions' settings stay local per device.

No Device Limits
Whether you bought a monthly subscription, yearly plan, or lifetime license, your Pro key works on every computer where you install the extension. Use it on your work laptop, home desktop, and any other machine — all at the same time. We do not enforce device caps or require you to deactivate one machine before activating another.
How to Set Up on a New Device
Setting up PlugMonkey on an additional device takes under a minute:
- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store on the new device
- Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup
- Paste the same license key you used on your other device
- Click Activate — Pro features unlock immediately
Bundle License Across Devices
If you purchased the PlugMonkey Bundle, your single key activates all eight extensions on every device. There is no per-extension or per-device limitation. One key, all extensions, all devices, forever (if lifetime).
Chrome Sync and Extension Settings
If you use the same Google account across devices with Chrome Sync enabled, Chrome will automatically install your extensions on new devices. However, license keys are stored locally per device for security reasons — you will need to enter your key once on each new device. ReadMonkey Pro is the exception: with Chrome Sync enabled, your saved articles and highlights sync automatically across all Chrome browsers.
Work and Personal Computers
You can use the same license on both work and personal computers. Your license is tied to your email, not to a specific machine or Chrome profile. If you use multiple Chrome profiles on the same computer, you will need to install and activate the extension in each profile separately.
