Manage Your X Unfollow Campaigns in Notion

Build a Notion database to log non-followers, track cleanup sessions, and plan strategic unfollow campaigns alongside X Unfollow Pro.

Last updated: March 6, 2026

Notion's flexible database system makes it an excellent companion for managing long-term X account cleanup. While X Unfollow Pro handles the actual filtering and unfollowing, Notion gives you a structured space to log campaign goals, track session results, build a curated whitelist, and plan your follow strategy. Together, they turn a one-off cleanup into a repeatable, organized workflow.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Set up your Notion campaign database

Create a new Notion page titled X Account Management. Inside it, add a database with the following properties:

 • Session Date (Date) — when you ran the cleanup
 • Starting Following Count (Number) — your follow count before the session
 • Accounts Unfollowed (Number) — how many you removed
 • Follower Ratio Before (Number) — followers ÷ following before
 • Follower Ratio After (Number) — followers ÷ following after
 • Filters Used (Multi-select) — e.g., Inactive, No followers, Low engagement
 • Notes (Text) — any observations from the session
Tip:Add a Formula property to auto-calculate ratio improvement:
prop("Follower Ratio After") - prop("Follower Ratio Before")
. Sort by this column to see your most productive sessions.
2

Export non-followers and import to Notion

After running a filter session in X Unfollow Pro, export your non-followers list as a CSV. To import into Notion:

 1. Create a new database page in your X Account Management workspace
 2. Click menu → Import CSV
 3. Select your exported file
 4. Map the CSV columns to Notion properties

This creates a searchable, filterable snapshot of your non-followers at that point in time. You can tag accounts with custom labels like Priority, Brand, or Bot Suspect and sort before your next unfollow session.

Tip:Use Notion's filter view to show only accounts followed for more than 90 days with under 500 followers — these are the highest-priority unfollows.
3

Build a protected whitelist in Notion

Create a dedicated Notion database page called Whitelist — Never Unfollow. Use it to record accounts you want to protect regardless of whether they follow back:

 • Key clients or business contacts
 • Journalists or press contacts
 • Industry thought leaders you want to maintain a connection with
 • Personal friends or colleagues

Before each unfollow session, review this list and add those usernames to X Unfollow Pro's built-in whitelist feature. This prevents accidental unfollows of accounts that matter to you professionally.

Tip:Cross-reference your Notion whitelist with X Unfollow Pro's whitelist monthly to ensure they stay in sync as your network evolves.
4

Plan follow campaigns and track follow-back rates

Use a Notion table to plan and measure outreach follow campaigns. Set up columns:

 • Campaign Name — e.g., "March SaaS Founders"
 • Target Niche — who you're following
 • Accounts Followed (Number) — how many you followed
 • Follow Date (Date)
 • Follow-Back Rate (Number) — percentage who followed back after 2 weeks
 • Action (Select) — Keep, Unfollow at 30 days, Unfollow now

After two weeks, export X Unfollow Pro's non-followers list and cross-reference it with your campaign list in Notion to calculate the follow-back rate for each campaign.

Tip:A follow-back rate below 20% for a niche means it's not a fruitful audience for your account. Adjust your targeting strategy based on these results.
5

Review and iterate your strategy monthly

At the end of each month, review your Notion session log and add a monthly summary page with:

 • Total accounts unfollowed
 • Net follower ratio change
 • Most effective filters used
 • Niche segments with highest/lowest follow-back rates
 • Strategy adjustments for next month

Use Notion's Gallery view with a cover image to make this log visually scannable, or Timeline view to see your cleanup sessions plotted across the calendar.

Tip:Share your monthly summary page with a collaborator or virtual assistant who helps manage your X presence — Notion makes it easy to collaborate on account strategy without sharing your credentials.
