Track Your Unfollow Campaigns in Google Sheets
Export non-followers and following data from X Unfollow Pro into Google Sheets for historical tracking, analysis, and systematic cleanup of your X account.
Last updated: March 6, 2026
X Unfollow Pro gives you powerful filtering tools to find and remove non-followers, but if you want to track your progress over time or analyze patterns, Google Sheets is the perfect companion. By exporting your non-followers list periodically and logging the data in a spreadsheet, you can measure how your follower ratio improves and plan targeted cleanup sessions.
Step-by-Step Guide
Filter non-followers in X Unfollow Pro
Open X Unfollow Pro and navigate to the Non-Followers tab. Use the built-in filters to narrow down your list:
- Inactive accounts — filter by last tweet date to find dormant follows
- Follower count — exclude accounts with large followings if you're doing audience research
- Verified filter — optionally exclude verified accounts
Once you have your filtered list, scroll through it to load all results. The extension detects accounts as you scroll.
Export your non-followers list
Click the Export button in X Unfollow Pro to download a CSV file of your current non-followers list. The export includes:
- Username and display name
- Follow date (when you followed them)
- Follower and following counts
- Last active date (if available)
- Verified status
Save the CSV file to your computer with a date-stamped filename such as non-followers-2026-03-06.csv.
Import the CSV into Google Sheets
Open Google Sheets and create a new spreadsheet called X Unfollow Tracker. To import your CSV:
- Go to File → Import
- Select Upload and choose your CSV file
- Set Import location to Insert new sheet(s)
- Set Separator type to Comma
- Click Import data
Each export session becomes its own sheet tab, letting you compare data across different dates.
Build a progress tracking dashboard
Create a summary sheet to track your progress over time. Set up columns for:
- Date — the export date
- Total following — how many accounts you follow
- Non-followers — how many don't follow back
- Follower ratio — followers ÷ following (aim for >1.0)
- Unfollowed this session — accounts removed since last export
Use a simple formula for ratio: =B2/C2. Add conditional formatting to highlight when your ratio dips below 0.8 (red) or rises above 1.2 (green).
Schedule regular export sessions
Consistency is key for meaningful data. Set a schedule for your unfollow sessions:
- Weekly — ideal for active X users doing aggressive cleanup
- Monthly — suitable for maintenance mode after an initial cleanup
- Before/after campaigns — export before launching a follow campaign, then again two weeks later to assess follow-back rates
Add a Google Calendar reminder titled "X Unfollow Session + Sheets Export" on your chosen schedule.
